Year Three..And We're Off!

For the 2011 reading week the Global Brigades group will be heading to Honduras for the third year. The group of 81 individuals has been working extremely hard to get ready for three brigades: medical/dental, public health and water projects.

Tonight was our final packing night, the bags are all lined up and ready for our 7:00am departure from Mount Allison tomorrow morning.

We want to thank everyone who has made it possible for us to get this far- we look forward to sharing our adventure with you all and wish you all the best in the coming week.

We will write again from the Newark hotel where we will have an overnight before our 9am departure for San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Due to relative inaccessibility to internet services, we will be doing our best to update the blog in Honduras every 2-3 days. We wish we could update more.

Until Newark... Thanks for following

  1. I think the Newfoundlanders have the earliest rise this morning:). Dr Bob on the way to Deer Lake Airport, should be in Halifax when you are leaving Sackville. Safe travels, remember to have fun too!
