After a very early wake up and a long wait in Halifax, we found ourselves peering through tiny plane windows at large sky scrapers and the statue of liberty. We are now sitting around the Marriott hotel eating pizza off of napkins...not exactly how we imagined our big city experience, but hey, we hear Newark (NJ) is the new New York. We have a 2:30 am wake up tomorrow morning, to catch our flight to Houston and after a quick plane change we will be off to San Pedro Sula! We do not have internet access at Repaco, the ranch where we are staying, but we are hoping to be able to get online a few times throughout the week- so keep checking in. We have had excellent treatment so far and we even got about $400 in baggage fees waived! Hopefully Continental will keep pulling through and we will arrive on schedule in sunny Honduras :)
Everyone is doing great and we are all excited and eager to see what tomorrow brings! Please write back to us when we post- we love hearing from you all.

What? You've started without us?... Glad you've arrived safely in NY (tarek's phone is obviously not working!) :-). We leave tomorrow and will arrive in Tegucigalpa on Saturday. Anxious to see all the old faces and meet the new ones! See you all soon. Susanna and Khalil
